The position is a PERMANENT position, is for an afternoon shift (Monday to Thursday, 4 10 hour days), and is available immediately.  There will be health benefits offered after completion of the 3 month probationary period.

Robotic Programmer 

Experienced robot programmer/technician - MiG welding robots (Motoman)

Ability to program MiG welding robots to produce weldments to print.

Must be capable of troubleshooting common mechanical problems.

Will work closely with maintenance and production management.

Successful candidate will be a self- starter willing to assume responsibility of a fast paced, schedule driven robot work cell.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 Ability to work in a fast paced production environment, ability and willingness to constantly learn. Past or present experience with basic computer operations a plus, as well as the ability to troubleshoot robotic or welding issues to resolve any problems quickly and efficiently.

As well as possess 6 years or more of experience in design, development and qualification of factory automation projects. Strong skills in the area of structured problem solving, DOE and statistical analysis is desired as is a proven ability to design in AutoCAD and/or Solidworks. As a senior member of a project team the successful individual will be required to show strong leadership skills with an acute ability to organize and direct a team of highly competent designers and engineers. Communication skills, both written and oral, are essential within this team environment and when dealing directly with the customers technical team.

Troubleshooting of motors, drives,§ servos and PLCs
Involved in the planning of maintenance schedules§
